Rosetta Biosoftware acknowledges the importance of protecting the privacy of visitors to the Rosetta Biosoftware web site (“Web Site”) and members of the Internet community generally. In this Privacy Policy, the terms ‘Rosetta Biosoftware’, ‘we’, ‘us’, and ‘our’ refer to Rosetta Biosoftware (as defined in the “Definitions” section of this Privacy Policy) and the terms ‘you’ and ‘your’ refer to you as a user of this Web Site.

Other than your name and company or organization affiliation, you do not need to provide any information that identifies you ("personally identifiable information" – as defined below) in order to visit our Web Site or to obtain information from our Web Site. Onward Transfer (to Affiliates and Third Parties)

Rosetta Biosoftware will not sell, rent, or lease your personally identifiable information to others. Unless we have your permission or are required by law, we will only share your personally identifiable information with other Rosetta Biosoftware business partners who are acting on our behalf for the uses described above. Security of your information

Rosetta Biosoftware will take reasonable precautions to protect personally identifiable information in our possession from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. Use of non-personally identifiable information
Our Web Site routinely collects non-personally identifiable information, such as the number of visitors, the most frequently viewed pages, the average time spent per visit, and other anonymous "click stream" information related to the use of the Web site. This anonymous information permits Rosetta Biosoftware to determine the general preferences of visitors of our Web Site, and is collected and stored in our Web Server Logs.

For some features of our Web Site including, without limitation, those relating to personal registration, use cookie technology to remember your selections with respect to aspects of the Web Site. We DO NOT store personally identifiable information in cookie files. Although Rosetta Biosoftware generally does not link log file or "click stream" data generated via cookies with the personally identifiable information that we collect from you via the personalized services on our Web Site, we may request your consent to do so in the future if we think that doing so may enable us to provide better service to you.

Definitions

Rosetta Biosoftware Rosetta Biosoftware is a business unit of Rosetta Inpharmatics LLC. Rosetta Biosoftware operates in certain regions of the world through affiliates (entities at least 50% owned by, under common ownership with, or which own at least 50% of, Rosetta Inpharmatics LLC).

Personally identifiable information - Personally identifiable information is any collection of data elements that alone or in combination could be used by or on behalf of Rosetta Biosoftware to identify an individual.
